2 empty bottles of promethazine, ghost gun found in car: PD

(KRON) – Two empty bottles of promethazine and a ghost gun were found in a vehicle, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
At 9:26 p.m. on Saturday, Santa Rosa Special Enforcement Team police officers contacted two people they said were smoking marijuana in their car near Tan Oak Court
and Northcoast Street. Police said they saw loose marijuana and an empty bottle of suspected promethazine. Police said they also noticed opened bottles of soda, which they say appeared to be a mix of promethazine and soda.
The vehicle’s occupants, identified as 20-year-old Alejandro Medina-Ballesteros and 29-year-old Jose Fuentes, were ordered to exit the car and refused. According to Santa Rosa PD, the duo was later “removed from the vehicle and detained.”

3 men with prior theft charges arrested for shoplifting at grocery store
Two empty bottles of suspected promethazine cough medicine, approximately 1.5 pounds of marijuana, and a loaded, concealed and unserialized Poly 80 9mm handgun were found in a search of the car.
The Santa Rosa residents were arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility.
Fuentes, according to police, is a convicted felon and legally disallowed from having firearms or ammunition. He has multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including:
Possession of a loaded firearm in public
control of a concealed firearm in a vehicle
Possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle
Possession of an unregistered firearm
Prohibited person in possession of ammunition
Possession of a controlled substance
Resisting arrest
Alejandro Medina-Ballesteros was charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanor charges, including:
