(BCN) -- One person died in a single-vehicle crash into a power pole in Watsonville shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday, knocking out power and causing road closures, police said. The crash took place on the 800 block of Walker Street and the person died at the scene, police said on social media. 3 men wit h prior theft charges arrested for shoplifting at grocery store Road closures remain in place at Walker Street at Ford Street and Harkins Slough Road at Bayview Drive as crews work to replace the damaged pole, according to police.
