One soldier headed to Germany is KFOR News Photographer, Sergeant Tyler Brahic. This deployment is his first and he said he's proud to serve this country.
"I'm hoping to learn and immerse myself in different cultures and maybe build relationships with people from other armies and militaries," said Sgt. Tyler Brahic, 145th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment.
There was a short ceremony on Sunday morning congratulating the soldiers.
"I've always wanted to deploy in the army, and it feels good that I can serve my country in this way," said Sgt. Brahic.
As they soak up the final moments with family and friends, those who are staying behind are proud to see these men and women serve this country and represent this state.
"Oh, it's amazing. Having soldiers to just volunteer to be a part of this organization is amazing. We're very proud to have them go forth and represent Oklahoma," said Command Sgt. Major Solis. ...read more read less
