INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One teenager is dead and another teenager is in critical condition Sunday after a shooting on the city’s northeast side, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says in a news release. Around 7:10 p.m. Sunday, IMPD officers responded to a report of a person s hot in the 10000 block of East 42nd Street. That is the location of an Exxon Mobil Silver Express Foodmart convenience store and gas station on the city’s northeast side. Officers arrived to the scene and found two teenage males with gunshot wound injuries. Both teens were taken to area hospitals in critical condition. At 8:11 p.m. Sunday, IMPD announced that one of the teens was pronounced dead at an area hospital. Investigators did not immediately provide any additional information.
