WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — Purdue redshirt sophomore center Will Berg has reportedly entered the transfer portal.
Berg averaged 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game and shot 84.2% from the floor this season. He played in 22 games and started three.
Berg’s three starts came in the th
ree games after Purdue freshman center Daniel Jacobsen suffered a season ending injury.
Berg played in all three of Purdue’s NCAA Tournament games, getting four points and two rebounds in 10 minutes in Purdue’s first round win against High Point.
He is the second Purdue player to enter the transfer portal, joining Brian Waddell.
Purdue’s season ended in the Sweet 16, losing to Houston, 62-60. The Boilermakers made it to the Sweet 16 for the third time in the last four years.
