(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that two people broke into a car, accessed a home's garage, and fired shots at the house on Sunday morning, March 30, in Northgate. According to CSPD, around midnight on Sunday, officers responded to the 11000 block of Wildwood Ridge Drive, near Voyager Parkway and Ridgeline Drive, on reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they learned that at least two people broke into a vehicle at a home and after finding the garage door opener, they used it to open the garage. CSPD stated that when the homeowner heard the door open, they went to check. As they were checking, one of the suspects fired several shots, hitting the house.
