Celebrate spring with exploration day at ND Heritage Center State Museum

BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — To celebrate the start of spring, families can hop over to the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum for a free day of hands-on learning.
On Saturday, April 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., people can participate in "Furs, Frogs, Flowers, and Feathers: Springtime
Exploration Day."
There will be interactive stations to explore the changes and cycles of nature during spring. The stations will feature animal furs and coloration, wildlife tracks, frog life cycles and calls, bird identification, and the role of pollinating wildflowers.
Mindless scrolling could be contributing factor to anxiety
Throughout the State Museum's Corridor of History, there will be educational activities.
This day is designed especially for elementary-aged kids, as it encourages hands-on exploration and discovery.
Registration is not needed, and admission is free, so families are able to arrive whenever they can to participate in as many activities as they want.
The North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum is located at 612 E Boulevard Ave in Bismarck.
