INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a fatal shooting took place on Indianapolis's northeast side Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, officers were called around 10:37 a.m. to the 4100 block of Shady Oak Dr. Upon arrival, a 19-year-old resident of the
apartment complex was located with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. IMPD said that the victim was pronounced deceased.
No further information was released, including potential suspect information and the conditions leading up to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
