INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a fatal shooting took place on Indianapolis's northeast side Sunday morning. According to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, officers were called around 10:37 a.m. to the 4100 block of Shady Oak Dr. Upon arrival, a 19-year-old resident of the apartment complex was located with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. IMPD said that the victim was pronounced deceased. No further information was released, including potential suspect information and the conditions leading up to the shooting.
