Some moments of sunshine that peeked through earlier this afternoon have added a little extra energy to provide fuel for rain and storms, with some becoming severe, that move in late in the afternoon through the evening.

erstorms is expected to develop and track through the area. The best chance for severe weather is from 5 PM to 8 PM, but storms could arrive as early as 3 PM and last as late as 11 PM.
Damaging winds are the most widespread concern with our Sunday storms. However, large hail, flooding, and tornadoes are possible, too.
Damaging wind gusts are the highest concern, followed by medium threats for hail, localized flooding rainfall, and isolated tornadoes. Ahead of these storms, temperatures climb into the 70s for high temperatures. Winds will, also, gust up to 35 mph outside of these storms. Something we are watching in regard to this severe weather potential is sunshine ahead of the storms. We'll experience some moments of sunshine before the storms arrive, and the longer this additional sunshine lasts, the more unstable our atmosphere could become. Let's hope for more cloud cover during this time, which will limit how unstable our atmosphere can get.

Behind this system, colder air moves in. There is, also, a slight chance for a rain shower on Monday, but most places stay dry. High temperatures tomorrow only reach the mid-40s, and April 1st (Tuesday) just barely reaches the 50s for highs. Winds may gust up to 30 mph on Monday, too.
