ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico United played its first match on the east coast this season on Saturday. The black and yellow took on Miami FC and took them down 1-0.
Once again, United dominated possession but the big chances were limited. The club only created one big chance and ended
the game with 0.84 expected goals.
The lone goal came in the 70th minute from Luiz Fernando. It was Fernado's first goal as a member of New Mexico United.
Goalkeeper Alex Tambakis racked up 6 saves. This marks his second consecutive clean sheet.
