HOUSTON (WISH) — Former Indianapolis Colts linebacker E.J. Speed is reportedly joining a different team in the AFC South.
According to multiple reports, Speed is signing a one-year deal with the Houston Texans.
Speed has played his entire career in Indianapolis after getting drafted by
the Colts in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Last year, he had the best year statistically of his career. Speed recorded a career-high 142 tackles. He also recorded his first career interception during the team’s 30-20 loss to the Bills in November.
Speed posted a video to his Instagram account on Saturday with the caption “Thank you INDY, I LOVE YALL.”
