Sunday morning will be mainly dry, but then we turn our attention to a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms late Sunday afternoon and evening.
A line of thunderstorms is expected to develop and track through the area. The best chance for severe weather is from 5 PM to 8 PM, but storms could arrive as early as 3 PM and last as late as 11 PM.

Damaging wind gusts are our highest concern, followed by medium threats for hail, localized flooding rainfall, and isolated tornadoes. Make sure you have multiple ways to receive weather alerts and stay tuned for the latest forecast updates.

We'll climb into the low-to-mid 70s before the storms arrive and it will be a windy day outside of the thunderstorms...look for gusts as high as 35 mph. The biggest wild card in this severe weather setup is instability, as we'll need to tap into some afternoon clearing before the storms get here to further destabilize the atmosphere. Let's cross our fingers for more cloud cover during the afternoon so that the storms do not maximize the instability they have to work with.
