A man was fatally stabbed Saturday afternoon near a Brooklyn grocery store, cops said. Police responded to a 911 call around 4:25 p.m. near Fulton St. and Albany Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant, where they found a 44-year-old man stabbed in the chest near the Mr. Carrot grocery store. The victim was stab bed outside the store and ran inside for aid before he collapsed, according to the store owner. The victim was transported by EMS to Interfaith Medical Center where he died. A small memorial of candles was set up a couple of doors down from the scene by friends of the victim. It remains unclear what sparked the violence. The assailant has yet to be caught by police.
