SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A man has died Saturday morning after being struck by a train in the area of Fieldston Street. Bicyclist killed after hit and run crash in Springfield Springfield Police Department Spokesperson Ryan Walsh said that officers received a report of a pedestrian b eing hit by a train at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Officers arrived at the train tracks in the area behind the 100 block of Fieldston Street where the victim was found. The victim passed away from his injuries at the location. The Springfield Police Department Detective Bureau is currently investigating this incident. 22News will provide updates as more information becomes available.
