A stationary front has set up shop across New England this weekend. As a result, we have a lot of cloudiness and occasional showers in the forecast. Sunday is looking to continue the trend with clouds, patchy for and a 20% chance of showers. Highs will be slightly cooler than average in the upper
-40s. Monday will be the most active day for weather in the next week. A morning warm front will bring rain that could be heavy at times. Temperatures will climb through the predawn hours and top in the 60s. It will become breezy as well with wind gusts near 30 mph. Monday night a strong cold front will come through with rain that will be heavy at times and a good chance of thunderstorms. We have a Stormtracker Alert in place for Monday night as a result. Tuesday will start early with the leftovers of the cold front and temperatures will drop into the 40s as it passes through. By the afternoon, we will have increasing sunshine and temps will rebound to the lower-50s. Wednesday is the sunny day this week with highs in the 40s. Rain is back for Thursday and showers for Friday. Both days look mild in the 60s. Next Saturday will have a mix of sun and clouds.
