Painesville Arts and Culture Council plans adult prom
Mar 29, 2025
The Painesville Arts and Culture Council is planning a night at prom for adults 21 and over.
The inaugural PACC Prom will run from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 5 and feature dancing, hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and picture stations, organizers said. PACC described it as “a night of nostalgia, fun and fun
draising.”
“Whether you’re recreating your high school prom or making brand-new memories, this is your chance to dress up, hit the dance floor and support local arts and culture,” according to PACC website.
Grand River Cellars will provide wine and AVI will cater, added Renee Fitzgerald-Palacio, executive director of PACC’s partner nonprofit the Downtown Painesville Organization.
The prom will be PACC’s first fundraiser, Fitzgerald-Palacio added. The funds raised will support the group’s efforts at “bringing visual and performing arts to Painesville.”
Tickets are $40 per person and can be bought at go.rallyup.com/paccprom2025 before 11:59 p.m. on April 2. The dance will take place at Lake Erie College’s Royce Hall, which is accessible from a parking lot halfway down Gillett Street in Painesville.
Fitzgerald-Palacio said that PACC is helping plan more events throughout the year, including a Suffrage Trolley Tour later in April and a potential Christmas market toward the end of the year.
“Painesville Arts and Culture Council is excited about hosting events and activities that will support their mission of fostering a vibrant and inclusive arts community in Painesville,” Fitzgerald-Palacio said.
“The Painesville Arts and Culture Council is dedicated to enriching the community by supporting and promoting local arts, culture and creative expression,” PACC added in an online post. “Through events, collaborations and advocacy, we provide opportunities for artists, performers and residents to connect, inspire and celebrate the vibrant cultural scene in Painesville.” ...read more read less
