Greece church to host African Dinner to support new refugee families

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Greece Baptist Church will host an African Dinner on Saturday evening to support refugee families.
Money raised at the dinner will support housing and utilities for three newly arrived refugee families in Rochester.
The dinner will feature Ubugari (white corn flour
), rice, potatoes, plantain, beans, Isombe (cassava leaves), cabbage, beef, chicken, coffee, tea, water, and desserts. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available, as well.
A suggested donation of $20 (or more) per plate is appreciated. Dine-in and takeout options are available.
Greece Baptist Church is located on 1230 Long Pond Road in door No. 4. The dinner will take place from 5-6:30 p.m.
