PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Celebrity fitness trainer Don “DB Donamatrix” Brooks of Petersburg will be returning to host the annual Donamatrix Day Fit Fest at Petersburg High School next weekend. The free fitness festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, and includes live workouts, youth sports tournaments, health screenings, local vendors and Brooks' Donamatrix Workout, promoting all kinds of wellness. Throughout the all-day festival, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, Molina Healthcare and Petersburg (VA) chapter of the Links Incorporated will offer health education and screenings.  Cool Beanz Cafe will provide food and drinks, and 106.5 The Beat’s Kool DJ Foot will provide the live music. On Thursday, April 3, Brooks and his daughter, Tuesdae Donyale, will host a new fundraising event prior this festival:  DB for 3 Charity Basketball Shootout.
