Police 'found no evidence' in Bourbon Street bomb scare

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Police say they were investigating a bomb scare on Bourbon Street in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 29.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, a suspect called 911 from an untraceable number around 1 a.m., claiming to be heading to the 600 block of Bour
bon Street with an AR rifle, a handgun and a bomb.
Man arrested after 61-year-old found dead in Bywater
On scene, police said they searched the area thoroughly and "found no evidence to support the suspect's claims."
