Suspect sought after Canal St. shooting, hospitalization

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A suspect is being sought following a shooting that happened in the Downtown area of New Orleans, resulting in a woman's hospitalization on early Saturday morning, March 29.
According to the New Orleans
Police Department, the incident took place in the 1000 block of Canal Street when the suspect, identified as 18-year-old Joshua Green, saw the victim walking and allegedly fired shots at her.
Police ‘found no evidence’ in Bourbon Street bomb scare
The victim was hit once and taken to a local hospital by EMS. Green reportedly fled in an unknown direction, and police are now searching for him, with a warrant out for his arrest.
