MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) - A 17-year-old in Wisconsin faces a domestic second-degree reckless homicide charge after an early morning fight with a family member on Saturday.
According to the Madison Police Department, officers were sent to the 700 block of North Midvale Boulevard around 1:15 a.m. Satu
rday for a reported weapons incident.

Officers on the scene found a 39-year-old man with stab wounds. The victim was declared dead on the scene. The suspect, a 17-year-old boy, was at the scene when officers arrived and was subsequently arrested.
The suspect and victim were reportedly fighting when the stabbing occurred. Officers recovered the knife at the scene. The suspect, identified as Alexander Velasquez, was arrested for domestic second-degree reckless homicide.
