National Weather Service officials said it was a slight chance of showers Saturday afternoon and a chance of showers and thunderstorms by this evening. Officials said there was a 40 percent chance of showers after 3 p.m. Saturday, and a chance of showers and thunderstorms by the night hours. Officia ls are expecting temperatures to reach 70 degrees in Chicago and surrounding areas. Officials warned it could be fog in portions of the Chicago area, as well as wind gusts up to 25 mph.
