Warm Saturday, cooler Sunday with storm potential overnight
Mar 29, 2025
What We’re Tracking
Breezy and warm again Saturday
Storms possible early Sunday
Cooler for the end of March
Cloud cover has built in through the night as winds have backed off a bit. From the south at 10-15 mph, temperatures are mild yet again this morning as we start off in the 60s
with a few spots dipping down into some upper 50s.
The start of our weekend looks to remain warm ahead of a boundary with highs staying in the middle to upper 70s. Winds will also continue from the south although not as strong at 15-20 mph. We'll be fighting cloud cover through most of the day with limited sunshine through the afternoon.
Spotty showers are possibly throughout the day before a strong cold front pushes through later this evening. This could bring in a chance for severe storms overnight. Biggest threats look to be hail and some strong winds. Best chance for severe weather potential will be for those further south and east.
By Sunday, we could see cold rain and potentially a few wet snowflakes early on before drying out into the afternoon. Temperatures for the last few days of the month will be cooler as we struggle into the middle 50s for Sunday and Monday. The good news is we start to warm back up heading into the start of April with 60s and 70s returning for the rest of the week.
