March 28, 2025: The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce has chosen Angel Lorenzen as the recipient of this year’s $1,000 scholarship for the DWU Learn & Earn Program in Pierre. This scholarship reflects the Chamber’s commitment to supporting the education and professional development of future b usiness leaders within our community in alignment with our commitment to being Loyal2Local. The DWU Learn & Earn Program gives students hands-on experience through paid internships, building skills, connections, and strengthening our workforce. A certificate presentation was held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce to recognize Angel’s achievement.
