This morning, temperatures have only fallen into the 50s, with some of our southern communities still in the 60s! This is thanks to southerly winds continuing to feed in this warmth. These temperatures will surge back through the 60s this morning.
Clouds increase through our Saturday morning, and
rain chances reappear, and will last throughout the day. There may be a few rumbles of thunder, but certainly nothing severe. Have the umbrella handy if you're heading outside today!

Even into the afternoon, the rain chances continue. Even with lingering PM rain, temperatures will continue to rise in the afternoon, with highs reaching just over the 70° mark for Fort Wayne. However, there will be many dry times. For much of the day, the rain will be scattered. The more widespread chances for rain/storms arrive this evening into the overnight.
Sunday morning sees a similar start temperature-wise to this Saturday AM. Temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s to start Sunday. Clouds will already be in place though, and a few rain showers will be possible through the early hours. Afterwards, a slight chance for rain/storms remains into the afternoon, but most stay dry. Highs reach into the mid-70s as more gusty winds, up to 40 mph, feed in warmth into the afternoon.

Sunday evening, rain/storm chances return as a strong cold front pushes through. This will coincide with a significant chance for severe weather. As these rain/storms move through, the main threats are damaging winds and large hail, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. We remain in an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5 for severe weather potential) from the SPC for the majority of our region. We will continue to keep updated with the latest information when it arrives.

Additional rain, especially in the heaviest thunderstorms, will add to the soggy moments we've already seen over the past few days, especially in our northern communities. including today and tonight, rain totals could reach an inch for some. It's certainly the spring season!
Rainfall totals from now through noon Monday suggest up to an inch of rainfall, with many seeing over a half-inch of rain.
Behind the front comes a blast of much colder air, so you'll need to bring the coat back out to start the workweek, with highs in the upper 40s to around 50 on Monday and Tuesday. It does not last for too long, however. We get back into the 60s Wednesday through Friday. Another round of severe weather will be possible on Wednesday,
