One person is dead and three others are seriously injured following a three-car crash in Gastonia on Friday night. It happened around 8 p.m. near Hoffman Road and Pine Creek Road. Three people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A driver was pronounced dead at the scene. At this tim e, police think speed could have been a factor.
