TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Topeka Zoo and Conservation Center is getting a new exhibit, along with some new animals for Spring 2025.
Visitors will get the chance to see Sumatran tigers up close. The new Tiger Trails and Den Academy lets you see tigers all year round. The trail goes all around the tiger
exhibit. It will lead to the STEM Learning Center.

Zookeepers with the Topeka Zoo will teach kids about animal conservation, hands on.
"People grow up to be good stewards of the environment when they visit their local zoo," CEO, Christina Castellano said. "They develop empathy and understanding for the challenges that wildlife faces in nature."
The zoo plans to break ground later this spring and open in June 2026.
