BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Walter Nolen was the anchor on an explosive Ole Miss defensive line last season. The tackle played two years at Texas A&M before transferring to Ole Miss, where everything just clicked. In 2024, he had 14 tackles for loss with six and a half sacks and was also dominant a
t stopping the run.
"Violent," Nolen said when describing his playing style at the NFL combine. "Just point blank violent. I feel like I play fast. Fast and violent, it's how football is supposed to be played."
The first team All-American has all the physical tools to be a day one starter in the NFL. Nolen says if there is one area he's working on, it's studying film and improving his football IQ.
"I'm really just picking up on things that the offense is doing," Nolen said. "And making my job a little bit easier because if you know what the offense is doing, or if you got a good feeling for what the offense is doing, it's going to make your job easier."
Walter Nolen is projected to be a late first-round draft pick.
