MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A 62-year-old man has minor scratches after his car overturned and landed on railroad tracks in Madera County Friday, the California Highway Patrol said. CHP says that at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a solo-vehicle rollover crash on nor thbound Highway 99, north of Avenue 9. According to CHP, the 62-year-old man was driving northbound on Highway 99 in the number one lane. He then drifted to the left, ran off the road and struck the metal guardrail.
