FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two people were arrested after officers saw drug paraphernalia in their car following a traffic stop in Fresno, the Fresno Police Department said Friday. According to Fresno Police, officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation in the area of Shaw an d Hughes avenues. Police say that upon further search of the vehicle, they observed drug paraphernalia and located a firearm, narcotics, a scale and currency indicative of drug scales. The driver is a convicted felon and was arrested on suspicion of numerous gun and drug charges, according to police. Police also say the passenger had multiple misdemeanor warrants related to petty theft and hit-and-run.
