(KRON) -- San Francisco is getting one of the most popular Asian grocery chains in Canada. T&T Supermarket will open its fourth U.S. location in San Francisco, the grocery chain announced in a press release Friday.
T&T Supermarket will be located at 2675 Geary Blvd. at the City Center loca
ted next to Target. The grocery store's target opening date will be during winter of 2026, according to the press release.

The San Francisco store will be T&T Supermarket's second in the Bay Area and fourth in the U.S. The company announced in January that it would open its first California location in San Jose. The two stores currently open are both in Washington: Bellevue and Lynnwood.
"The new store will serve surrounding neighborhoods from Pacific Heights to the Richmond District, offering a one-stop shop for premium Asian groceries, street food-style meals, and viral bakery favorites," the T&T Supermarket press release states. "Ranging from freshly roasted Peking Duck, Xiao Long Bao, 150+ kinds of bread and desserts, a curated selection of Asian Alcohol, and Asian pantry staples."

T&T Supermarket takes over the nearly 50,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Best Buy. Last June, KRON4 reported that the City of San Francisco approved the project that would have Whole Foods move into that space.
It is unclear what exactly happened to the Whole Foods project at that same address.
The city approved the project to move forward in 2024, but it appears the Amazon-owned grocery store backed out of the project. KRON4 reached out to the San Francisco Planning Department but was not able to receive a detailed response in time for publication.
