RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond Animal League (RAL) has announced the return of their annual Woofstock Festival, featuring vendors, live music and more. Woofstock Festival is an annual outdoor event held by RAL to help support animals in need throughout the Central Virginia region. This year, Wo ofstock will take place on Saturday, April 26, from noon to 6 p.m. near the Innsbrook Pavilion located at 4951 Lake Brook Dr. in Glen Allen -- with a rain date scheduled for Sunday, April 27. The event is free to attend, family-friendly and will include live local bands as well as a pet parade for people's four-legged friends to show off their fashion skills. Participants will have the option to make a donation towards RAL's mission -- helping provide local homeless animals with the proper care, and maybe even their future families. Additionally, people will be able to meet rescue animals, not just from RAL, but from 15 other shelters and rescue organizations to find the perfect pet for them.
