EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — For nearly four decades, Ric Valles was known as the man behind the lens at WPRI 12. The longtime videographer produced commercials and filmed hundreds of events during his time in news. Though he wasn't one of the familiar faces everyone saw on TV, he was an i ntegral part of behind-the-scenes operations. In the video above, 12 News anchor Mike Montecalvo caught up with Valles to reflect on his career, and was also there as he walked back into WPRI 12 for the first time since he retired in 2017.
