PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — United Way of Rhode Island is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of different services. President and CEO Cortney Nicolato joined 12 News at 4 to share more about the work they're doing. MORE: United Way of RI expands support for nonprofits with fed eral funds uncertain United Way is currently helping other nonprofits navigate the new landscape of federal funding and organizing its 6th Annual 401 Gives campaign. Last year, the campaign raised more than $3.7 million for hundreds of local organizations. This year, more than 600 organizations are taking part.
