OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Authorities are investigating an overnight fire in Northwest Oklahoma City that destroyed a local event center. Fire officials say the Grand Occasions Event Center near Portland and Northwest 23rd is a total loss. Firefighters arrived on the scene around 11:30 p.m., and hea vy flames were coming from the building, causing the structure to collapse. At one point, fire crews say, the flames were so intense that a nearby building in the apartment complex had to be evacuated as a precaution.
