NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Friday, March 28, New Orleans fire fighters remembered one of their own. Coroner employee seen in video dragging body bag of Bywater homicide victim down stairs fired That morning they gathered with family and friends of Dwayne Jackson for his funeral at Genti lly Baptist Church. The 41-year old fire fighter was killed in a car crash on March 13. The funeral was followed by a procession and "final salute" at Station Eight on Florida Boulevard.
