(WGNO) — A suspect was arrested on Thursday, March 27, in connection with a Bogalusa murder investigation that began back in January. According to the Bogalusa Police Department, a shooting incident occurred o n Jan. 2 and resulted in the death of Ryan Simmons, of Franklinton. Man arrested after 61-year-old found dead in Bywater An investigation reportedly showed Jerry Charles Baker Jr. as a suspect. Upon his arrest, he was allegedly found with a stolen firearm and legend drugs, resulting in additional charges raised against him.
