MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A customer allegedly hit a Popeye's worker in the face with brass knuckles multiple times over a food order on Monday. On Mar. 24, at 3:35 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault at Popeye's at 2235 Lamar Avenue in South Memphis. The victim told police that he wa s working the drive-thru window when a customer became upset about their order. The manager handled the complaint, and the victim walked into the lobby. The suspect then ran into the business and hit the victim in the face with brass knuckles multiple times. Police say the victim was knocked unconscious from the assault. No arrest has been made.
