BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET)-- A driver was rushed to a Bakersfield hospital after overturning their vehicle along Garces Highway Friday morning near Delano. The driver was headed eastbound in an Acura Integra on Garces Highway just west of Jumper Avenue before losing control and overturning off t he road. This was reported just after 8 a.m. on Friday, according to CHP's Traffic Incident Information Page. 1 hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle in east Bakersfield The driver was able to exit the vehicle after it landed in a field. After CHP and other emergency crews arrived, the driver was transported by life flight to Kern Medical for a head injury.
