WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Two men convicted of murdering a pregnant woman in Coventry in 2022 were sentenced Friday. Gary Gromkiewicz and Michael Lambert were both sentenced to life in prison. Gromkiewicz and Lambert were both found guilty on all counts for the murder of Leila Duarte Da Luz in Jan uary. Da Luz was Gromkiewicz’s ex-girlfriend and was pregnant with his child. Authorities said the two killers, who met in prison, picked up Da Luz in Brockton on December 21, 2022.
