MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies have parted ways with head coach Taylor Jenkins after six seasons, the team announced at 11:25 Friday morning.
Jenkins was hired as head coach in mid-2019. The team has not announced a replacement.
The team's president and GM Zach Kleiman thanked Jenkin
s for his work and wished him well, calling it a difficult decision.
The Grizzlies are currently fifth in the Western Conference, with a 44-29 record. They lost to the Thunder on Thursday and are set to face the Lakers on Saturday.
