(WFRV) - WisDOT officials with the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) are warning Wisconsinites of the ongoing 'outstanding toll' phishing scam sent through text messages. A release sent out on Friday states that the scammers are pretending to be from WisDOT to get potential victims to click on fra udulent links or reveal personal information. The most common texts warn of a "final reminder" to an "outstanding toll," and officials say that the scams duplicate the look of official WisDOT content.
