Mar 28, 2025
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Baton Rouge’s Taste of Mid City food festival is set to bring together some of the area’s top restaurants and chefs for a day of delicious eats, family fun and community support.
This year, the event is supporting Kids' Orchestra, a nonprofit that helps
students build creativity and confidence through music education. All proceeds from the event support the Kids' Orchestra.
Festival-goers can try samples from local favorites like Barracuda Tacos and Elsie’s Plate & Pie. Families can visit the Kids Zone, which features games, interactive activities and the East Baton Rouge Parish Library Bookmobile.
Live music and entertainment will keep the energy high during the event. Interactive experiences will offer hands-on fun for everyone. Attendees will also have the chance to win special prizes in a drawing.
