ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Monroe County released the schedule for its rabies vaccination clinics this year. The Department of Public Health is encouraging those with dogs, cats, and ferrets to bring them to the free clinics, with the first one held at the Rochester Sports Complex next week. All dogs must be on a leash, and cats and ferrets must be in carriers. This comes not long after Livingston County announced a positive rabies test in the Town of Lima. The goat that was bitten did receive a prior rabies vaccination to prevent the infection. Below is the schedule fo the upcoming clinics.
