Good morning! Happy Friday! Today will be milder than yesterday, but tomorrow could be a lot milder for some parts of Southern New England. Then, it gets much cooler for everyone for the second half of the weekend. Today, we have elevated fire weather concerns due to dry conditions and gusty win ds. Any fires that do develop could spread quickly. Please use extra caution today. Afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 50s. Hour by Hour // A close look at the upcoming conditions » Clouds and a sprinkle early this morning will give way to sun, but more clouds will arrive through the afternoon. Highs in the Providence area will be around 58, but it will be a bit cooler toward the south coast. . | | BEACH AND BOATING FORECASTS TONIGHT A few showers are possible this evening, but a better chance of showers are possible at night. Lows in the 40s. Those showers will be moving along a stalled out front. That front will split Rhode Island in half early Saturday morning. TOMORROW Quite the temperature range is expected for Saturday. South county will get some sunshine and have milder temperatures while they're on the south side of the front into early afternoon. Inland areas will top out in the low to mid 50s while 60s are possible south and west of Providence....especially in South County. However, even in South County, temperatures will drop late day into the 50s. LOOKING AHEAD Sunday will be much cooler and damp with a few showers and drizzle....upper 40s. -Meteorologist T.J.
