Man arrested for fatal shooting of 64yearold in Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man was arrested in connection with a shooting that killed a 64-year-old man in Downtown Fresno, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Police say that on March 16, officers responded to a wellness check on a man who was found unresponsive near Tulare and B str
eets. Officers found 64-year-old Abraham Tiggs unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.
According to officers, despite life-saving efforts, Tiggs was pronounced dead on the scene.

Homicide detectives initiated an investigation, and police say they identified 38-year-old Adam Delacruz as a suspect in the shooting.
According to police, on Wednesday, March 26, a search warrant was served at a residence on Tulare Street and B Street, and Delacruz was taken into custody.
Police say Delacruz was charged on suspicion of homicide and illegal possession of a firearm.
