A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle near her home in Oakley Thursday morning, the city said. The collision happened at about 9:55 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Ramos Ranch Road, according to the city. The pedestrian died at the scene, which was “mere feet” from he r home, the city said. Her family was home when the collision happened. The driver, a 77-year-old man, initially drove home but later returned to the scene, according to the city. He was taken to a hospital and was cooperative with investigators.
