MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Middleborough Police Department said that the 83-year-old woman reported missing Thursday was found dead. Police said the body of Michelle Sperling was found  in the woods in a shallow body of water. She was last reported seen at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Simmo ns Road at the Oak Point residential community. The department said the death was under investigation but foul play was not suspected.
