(WGNO) — A man from Calcasieu Parish was arrested in Boutte on March 25 after a traffic stop turned to a drug and gun investigation. According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies performed the s top on Paul Maillard Road at Tinney Street due to a reported traffic violation committed by a black Nissan Altima. One ZEV 9mm handgun. 27 rounds of 9mm ammunition. One Smith and Wesson .223 caliber AR Pistol. 10 rounds of .223 caliber ammunition.
