Class 4a
Fishers vs. Jeffersonville, approximately 8:15 p.m.
Fishers is looking to win back-to-back state titles, and their pursuit has been in dominant fashion. The Tigers are undefeated this season and have won 43 straight games dating back to February 2024.
Fishers had never won a sectional before last season, and now they’re looking to be the first team to win back-to-back state titles in 4A since Carmel in 2019 and 2021.
The Tigers were tested in their sectional, where they played two top ten teams. Since then, their margin of victories have been 50 points in the regional championship, 36 points in the semi-state semifinal, and 25 points in the semi-state championship.
Jeffersonville is 23-5 this season, but has not lost since January 4. The Red Devils started just 6-5, but have rallied off 17 straight victories. They beat two central Indiana schools in semi-state, defeating Mount Vernon by four and Lawrence North by seven.
Jeffersonville is in its first state championship since 1995. It has won one state title victory in its history, in 1993 against Ben Davis.
Class 3A
South Bend Saint Joseph vs. Crispus Attucks, 6 p.m.
South Bend Saint Joseph has the highest scoring average in the state, putting up over 77 points per game. The Huskies were ranked second in the 3A rankings after the end of the regular season, just behind Cathedral for the top spot.
They’re back in the state championship for the second straight year. Last season, the Huskies lost to Scottsburg in the title game. With a win, it would be their first state championship in school history.
Crispus Attucks is looking to add to their four state championships in school history. A fifth would move them into a tie with Carmel for the fourth most in state history.
Attucks is 22-6 and has not lost since the City tournament championship game against Cathedral on January 27, a 12 game winning streak. The Tigers avenged the loss to Cathedral in the sectional semifinal, beating the Fighting Irish by five points.
Attucks’ head coach Chris Hawkins is looking for his second state title. He won state the first season he was the head coach there, in 2017.
Class 2A
Manchester vs. University, approximately 12:45 p.m.

This is Manchester’s first time making it to the state championship. The farthest it had previously gotten was winning the regional championship in 1994. This year is the first time Manchester has won its sectional since 1995.
Manchester will face another school in its first ever state championship, University.
University is making it to its first state championship in its school’s 25th anniversary year. The Trailblazers are 20-9 this season. They started the season 3-6 but have been 17-3 since. University has two one possession wins in the state tournament, beating Triton Central by one point in the regional championship and beating Linton by three points in overtime in the semi-state semifinals.
University was never ranked this season, but has found a way to get hot at the right time to make it to the state title game.
